Daniel Berger earns $50,500 for one shot at WCG-Bridgestone!

We all know how well tour players gets paid, but 25 year old American Daniel Berger had a handy little payout at this weeks WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. The world number 32 hit one tee shot in round one before sighting a shoulder injury and withdrawing from the tournament. 
With no cut, everyone in the small field of 61 players is assured a hefty payday. With Berger withdrawing from the event in round 1, he was assured of 61st place and prize money of $50,500usd ($70,700aud). Thats a $50,500 drive! Not bad if you can get it. 
Add to that, 3 weeks ago, Berger took home is first PGA event The St Jude Classic! With the winner talking home $1,116,000usd ($1,500,000 aud)
