<p>Phil had four birdies in his final round at the Safeway Open finishing with a -5 (67) and finishing tied for 8th shooting -14 for the tournament. American Brendan Steele eventually won the first tournament of the new wrap around PGA Tour season. Steele finished with a -7 (65) to win from Patton Kizzire.</p>
