There's been a lot of coverage of how pro golfers spend their leisure time and it may have hit a tipping point, with fans finally cracking after watching 2 blokes kayaking together topless.
Jordan Speith and Smylie Kaufman did some fishing and paddling after a round in Hawaii and broadcasters loved it, young lads, having fun, showing us some personality.
But not everyone feels the same, and social media's blowing up.
Tom* "I've gone to 3 different websites to find the scores from the Sony Open and all I read about is how bad a fisherman Smylie is. This madness needs too stop!"
Rob* 60, from Alberta "We never saw Jack and Arnie carrying on like this, its a disgrace to golf"
Scott* 55, from New York "if they do one more live cross to these 2 shirtless guys during the tournament I'm cancelling my subscription"
and Eric* from Chicago has gone as far to suggest they be banned
"This isn't what golfs about, if they don't wear their tucked in collared shirts and white socks every single time they're on camera, anywhere, they should be banned from all golf courses"

Then theres Phil* 64 from the UK
"Its pissing down rain here and all I want to do is watch golf and moan to my wife about the weather in Hawaii, instead I have to see Smylie try and cast a rod, so now I'm moaning to my wife about these millennials that are ruining golf, and whats bloody snapchat? I just want to watch golf"
Fans are struggling to deal with the fact that not only do these pros get along, socialise and enjoy each others company, they also do things outside of the great game of golf.
"they are modern day gladiators, fighting to the death on the back nine on a Sunday, they shouldn't be seen in public together"
"how can they want to end an opponents career one day then bait each others rod the next?"
"I want blood not hugs"

Its clear to us in Golf Gods HQ that this coverage will only intensify as the build up to SB2K17 gathers steam, when the cool young guys of golf enjoy some time out, but social media may genuinely struggle to deal when that drops, it could turn the online golf world into complete armageddon, so keep your phones charged, your computers connected to high speed internet (unless you live in Australia like us, because we don't believe in high speed internet) and stay tuned, because opinions are going to be flying everywhere!!!
