A couple in Scarsdale, USA have spent the last 6 years in court with Quaker Ridge Golf Club because they were sick of golf balls landing in their yard. It seems this inconvenience wasn't considering when buying their $3.7 million home that backed onto the golf course!

Seeking $3.3 million for punitive damages, they were awarded $7,323.75. The club spent nearly $1 million modifying the second hole, moved the tee box, erected a 40-foot net, but it wasn't enough for the couple, who's lawsuit alleged nuisance, trespass and negligence against the club for the dozens of balls that flew into their yard each year.
