European Tour's latest innovation, The Hero Challenge!

8 men enter the arena, 1 hole, knockout format, last man standing wins. Held at The Grove 2 days before the British Masters gets underway, the Hero Challenge is a new format for fans to see some golf action before the main tournament kicks off.

The exciting concept, held under lights, is the latest innovative event conceived by European Tour chief executive Keith Pelley, who wants to bring more entertainment to the game we love.

The action was shown live on Sky Sports, and started with a celebrity shootout with former cricketer Shane Warne cleaning up Kevin Pietersen, Piers Morgan and Brian McFadden.

The main event was won by Frenchman Alex Levy, with his £10,000 first prize going to charity.

Feedback from those involved suggests the players hope the concept's here to stay!
